Cooper Park is home to three historic cabins and a one-room school brought to this area to create a park that offered historical experiences along with outdoor activities. The park is home to the headquarters of the parks department along with several of the sporting teams in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and features a pool, pond, relocated cabins, and a schoolhouse. The park also has a large pond with many animals including ducks that can be fed by the public.

Cooper Park includes three historic cabins that were moved to this location as well as one historic schoolhouse that was also transferred to this location. Visitors can also enjoy the small gardens that feature native flowers, bushes, as well as trees that date back to the establishment of Baxter County.
