Although this bridge occurred only a few seconds in this movie, it was historic with a sense of design. In the movie, Lola lived near this bridge. Lola quickly ran through this bridge to find her father who worked in the bank to save her boyfriend. This bridge was near the place she lived.

The Oberbaumbrücke bridge connects the districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg over the main river named Express, and it gives the visitors the most beautiful panoramas. It is famous for its red bricks and towers, and it is considered a symbol of Berlin as well as the German reunification. Moreover, the Oberbaumbrücke bridge is surrounded by bars, clubs, cafes, and restaurants, and thus Berliners also considered it as the center of nightlife. This wooden bridge was built in 1732, and it was greatly modified between 1879 and 1896 to meet the demand for heavy traffic on the bridge. In April 1945, the United States British allied forces and the Soviet Red Army both invaded Germany after a hard struggle in World War II. Under such circumstances, the German capital Berlin became the most important attack target. The US Army Air Force launched a very large daytime air raid on Berlin, and their bombing dropped more than 45000 tons of bombs on the German population center. On March 7, 1945, the troops of the 9th armored division of the United States occupied the Ludendorff Bridge in Remagen. Therefore, the bridge was demolished after airstrikes and war. Until the mid-1950s, pedestrians, motor vehicles, and trams could cross the bridge without difficulty. After the completion of the Berlin Wall in 1961, the bridge became part of the border between East and West Berlin. Since December 21, 1963, the Oberbaumbrücke bridge has been used only as a pedestrian crossing point for residents of West Berlin. It was not until the Berlin Wall was demolished in 1989 that the bridge was rebuilt and restored to its original appearance. In 1997, the neon light of "Stone paper scissors" showed the arbitrariness of immigration decisions. Later, in April 2019, the Oberbaumbrücke bridge was blocked in this situation.
