This home belonged to Luther Linebarger and Minnie Inman. Luther was born in Leander in 1884 and was one of 12 children. His parents moved to Leander sometime after the Civil War from Tennessee. Though Tennessee seceded from the union, Luther's father, Jacob, joined the Union Army.
