The building at 1000 Broadway Boulevard once housed several companies. In the basement was the TiPi Company, while the first floor house Rose Mercantile Company. Lan Mar Manufacturing Company was located on the second floor, Jenny Garments, Inc. on the third floor, Herdan Morris Inc. on the fourth floor, Danny Dore Boys Wear, Inc. on the fifth floor, and finally on the sixth floor was Vic-Gene Manufacturing Company.
