St Vrain Market Mural

Lyons, Colorado is widely considered the gateway to the Rockies and is the home of dozens of artists who draw their inspiration from the surrounding nature.

Jake Pinello created the mural on the St. Vrain Market using the view opposite of the mountains as his inspiration. He wanted to capture the eastern Colorado plains and the spirit of St. Vrain Market.

The St. Vrain Market is a small store that serves the 2000 people who live in Lyons as well as countless visitors who camp in Lyons parks and travel through town up to Rocky Mountain National Park. St. Vrain Market offers Lyons residents locally sourced goods and groceries. The mural painted by Jake Pinello shows the cattle and dairy farms that are sprinkled throughout the eastern plains.
