After Officer Ronald Tarentino’s death, a charitable foundation was established in his name. The town of Auburn has since come together to support all police officers. Auburn, Massachusetts is "Tarentino Strong." The phrase ‘Tarentino Strong’ is based on the other popular phrase ‘Boston Strong’ that helped the city of Boston unite in strength after the Boston Marathon bombings.
