The sign on the ground floor reads, "This store will be occupied on or about December 1st by The Paris." Note the confluence of transportation modes on Washington Street; a trolley car, horse and buggy, and motor vehicles. Fred Philpot's studio can be seen to the right of the Trust Company. The building was built in 1917 and is still in use in 2023 for businesses. No longer a bank, it is leased for rent.) The Sanford Trust company would be on the right and the Garnsey Building would be on the left of the Sanford trust company building.
