Snake Creek Canal

This mile long canal drives between the main city of North Miami Beach. It has somewhat divided the many neighborhoods in the area to make it seem like some kind of border between the different cultural communities in the area. It also serves as a connection between each community as everyone joins in on the mile run challenge that the city has set on it. Everyone from each community eventually meets each other and goes as far as to enjoy time together at the parks that are connecting to the creek, allowing everyone to simply view the different parts of the city one mile that cuts in the middle of the geographic area. A canal acting as both a border yet also as a bridge to different communities.
