Gulf Shores Museum

Located in a building that was moved from West Beach to its present location, this former home has served as a library, youth center, and is now home to a city museum. The museum includes a variety of exhibits about local history, the Civil War, and naval history. For example, the museum includes a ship's mast mast that predates World War II, as well as exhibits related to tourism and business development and a garden. Admission is always free and the museum offers programs throughout the year.
