Four Mile United Baptist Church, known to many as "Harless Fork Church" is located on Harless Fork of Four Mile Creek, Branchland, WV. Also located in Lincoln County, the church was organized in 1850. This took place seventeen years before Lincoln County was formed from Boone, Cabell, Kanawha, and Putnam counties on February 23, 1867.
The log church is one of the country's oldest churches that still conducts active service. An annex has been added to the interior of the church, but the original log structure remains intact.
