An athletic field at the corner of 10th Street and Woodlawn Avenue just north of the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, also known as The HPER. In the late 1940s, after World War II, when student enrollment at Indiana University skyrocketed because of the GI Bill, Woodlawn field temporarily housed 300 mobile trailers, which became homes for many new students.

During 1943 through 1945 the Cincinnati Reds used the Woodlawn Field for their spring training.
