This stone is one of the 36 extant of the 40 original federal boundary stones. It stands at the intersection of Eastern Avenue Northeast and New Hampshire Avenue Northeast. A fence surrounds the stone with a plaque placed by the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1916. The fence, plaque, and stone were at one point all painted red.
