I focused on the courthouse because it is a symbol of something that has remained as the years fly by and the times keep changing. There are some good stories about this courthouse too.

The first facebook link is about a food program that is going on in Martin county. I found it interesting because it goes to show even if you live in a small town or county, your neighbors will still look out for you. I found it rather humbling and the program is called farmers to families where farmers grow the food and it goes to local families. The other link ties in because it has to do with coronavirus and how the county is facing this challenge. I think it is interesting because small towns likely have less resources but can focus on the root of the issues because they do have less people.
