This building was constructed in 1913 as the Michigan Central Rail's (MCR) Locomotive Shop. It is now the Elgin County Railway Museum. The museum has a number of rolling stock in their collection, including the CN Engine No. 5700 (originally 5703), and the electric L1 engine.
