Joseph Rosenheimer, who had the residence built, sold
it to Mr. Klug in 1896. The front portion of the building
was for a time used by Nettie Storckwho had a millinery
shop. Gerhard Koenings, a barber, owned the house from
1907 and practiced his trade until retirement in 1945
when John Schodron rented and continued the barber
business. In October, 1952 Ed Malach bought the barber
shop and made many improvements in the
building.
