Possibly the site of the first brewery in the Village. John Klinger Brewery was listed as in Circa 1860 -1870. The underground basement was used for aging
beer. In recent years it has collapsed. The Wadewitz
family lived for some time in this home and Lawrence
Kohl, after owning it for a time, sold to Elsmer Baertschy.
