Geneva Park is a beautiful place to explore nature and home to 16 covered bridges-the most in any region of the state of Ohio. Geneva State Park is located on Ohio's northeastern shoreline, 698-acre Geneva State Park reflects the character of Lake Erie. The shimmering expanse of the lake lures vacationers who enjoy fishing and boating, as well as those who enjoy the lake's man-made sandy beach. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the park's freshwater marshes and estuaries associated with the lake. There are also many species of birds such as killdeer, so be cautious of the tiny nests filled with Black speckled eggs that killdeer sometimes lay in the parking lots.

The state park includes 700 acres of beachfront, estuaries, nature trails, and a lodge for guests.
