Doughty House

The Doughty House is an historic home in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. It was built in 1865 and a few years later in 1869 bought by Wilkison Doughty. The house was designed in the balloon frame pioneer style. The Doughty family still owns the house. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and designate a Michigan State Historic Site in 1973.
