This organization was one of the first lesbian and gay rights organizations in Latin America. It was hosted at Emilio's Cafeteria Musical in Tijuana, Mexico. This group couldn't advertise explicitly that was it was a gay and lesbian hub for fear of persecution. FIGHT organized letter writing campaigns, fundraisers to keep Emilio's open, and provided support for those struggling with HIV or AIDS.
