In the movie, Lola’s boyfriend loses a bag of money at Deutsche Oper subway station on the way to the West in Charlottenburg. The money loss caused serious problems in the movie, and thus Lola had to try her best to help her boyfriend to solve the problem. In this situation, she had to run as fast as she could to raise money.

The Deutsche Oper subway station was opened on 14 May 1906, and it changed its name to Deutsche Oper in 1961. On 8 July 2000, there was a fire broke out at this subway station. That fire was caused by the Love Parade which was a free-access music festival and parade. Love Parade was once considered as the epoch-making event that swept through West Berlin, and participants would wear their best clothes and sang while walking in the street, aiming to praise love and peace. In 2000, a fire in the German opera house injured 21 people, and A U-Bahn train was also destroyed and the subway station received serious damage. In this situation, the subway station was reopened on September 1, 2000, after renovation.
