Introduction
Text-to-speech Audio
Seventh elephant mural installed as part of the "Track to the Future" mural project funded and managed by Andrew Gunn Consulting in partnership with Railway City Tourism.
Designed and painted by Wendell Graves, artist and St. Thomas City Manager.
Highlights history of fairs and festivals in the community. There are references to: Bingo Card, Locke's Community Fair, Iron Horse Festival, St. Anne's Fair.
The pole in the centre is a reference to the "greasy pole" competition at Locke's Community Fair, where $20 was placed at the top of a greased-up pole, and participants competed to climb it and claim the $20 prize.

From his interview: "Unknown to those who selected the site, the Caps Off Brewery site was for decades home to Moore Tire Ltd. My dad was a long term employee at Moore Tire. As a kid, my brothers and I spent time there on Saturdays assisting in moving tires and mag wheels around the shop. Because of this, I decided to paint my mom and dad, Lucy and Cec, as teenagers, into the piece riding in “The Scrambler”."
