The biggest change in the Health and Wellness Center was in there testing protocols. Prior to the pandemic, students could receive viral or bacterial test inside an examination room. But, in light of the state and university health restrictions testing appointments were conducted at the back door of the center. Student would wait at the back door and be tested outside. Additionally, the counseling staff in the Health and Wellness Center faced challenges. Counselors would meet with students over Zoom and other private meeting apps to support students with mental health as well. In short, the Health and Wellness Center's reach extended far beyond the physical builiding.
