Bowling Green State University Libraries’ Special Collections departments include the Browne Popular Culture Library (BPCL), Center for Archival Collections (CAC), Curriculum Resource Center (CRC), and Music Library and Bill Schurk Sound Archives (MLBSSA). Special Collections departments collect, preserve, and provide access to unique and rare materials relating to a wide range of subjects, including popular culture, romance literature, BGSU and Northwest Ohio history, Great Lakes history, popular and classical music, and K-12 education. Materials span physical and digital formats and include manuscripts, rare books, photographs, maps, audio and video recordings, popular and independent literature, and instructional media.
