Established in the midst of the Great Depression, this science museum has educated children and adults for nearly a century and is located in a museum that has served this section of California since 1968. The museum has two main expo spaces: the Hall of Life and the Hall of Footprints. The Hall of Life traces the history of life on earth through exhibits spanning the first cells through human civilization.The Hall of Footprints contains a variety of fossils and represents the largest collection of animal footprints on display in North America.
