Text-to-speech Audio
Established as a non-profit in 1978, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, celebrates the heritage of the pioneer west and the origins and culture of the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) festival, which takes place in July. The highlight of the festival is the world's largest rodeo. Highlights of the museum include the CFD Hall of Fame and one of the largest collections of carriages in the country. The museum also offers cultural and educational programs, many of which are geared towards children, a research center, and western and folk art shows.
