The earliest automobile dealer in Ruston was the Feazel Motor Company, started in 1912, selling Henry Ford's Model A and later the Model T, arguably the most famous vehicle of all time. After decades as a car dealership, the building was remodeled into apartments, the first renovation of a commercial building into residential housing in downtown Ruston. After part of the remodel, the original Feazel Motor Co. sign was repainted on the east side of the building.
