Located in a storefront built in 1896, the Henderson County Heritage Museum includes a variety of exhibits that recreate life in Texas at the turn-of-the-century. The museum includes six rooms of exhibits that include artifacts from the 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as dioramas and models that tell the story of the city's growth. The museum also includes a number of exhibits dedicated to military history. The Louise Bailey Room covers the period from 1940 to the present-also with an emphasis on military history.
