Backstory and Context

Just north of the Community Hall stands the Worden House, the modest home of Emily Dye and Benjamin Burd Worden for more than half a century. It was moved by the township to its present location from its original site. Restored and serving as the offices of the Chamber of Commerce, the Recreation Department, and the Verterans' Office, the house is a representative middle-class dwelling of the early Victorian Era in this part of the state.
