Opened in 1993, the Headwaters Science Center is a science museum in Bemidji, Minnesota. The 7,500 square foot facility contains 70 hands on exhibits that focus encourage learning for people of all ages. Its collections consist of biological and geological specimens. It offers various education programs such as the Science Club for children aged 7-13, Tots 'n' Science for young children, live animal demonstrations, and other adult and family programs.

The museum's parent organization, Opportunities in Science, was established in 1988 and through its efforts the museum opened in a former retail store in 1993. Over time, the museum has grown to what it is today.
