The Collinsville Historical Museum strives to preserve the history of the city of Collinsville for future generations. It exhibits and displays feature all kinds of items related to the town's history, from nationally ranked local sports teams, the area's coal mining past, and items from residents who were members of the armed services. Other displays features items related to the police and fire departments, farming, and even artifacts from the archaeological site, Cahokia.
