Housed in the Old Seaboard Railroad Depot, the Chester County Transportation Museum has an extensive collection of historic items and and exhibits that preserve and share the history of transportation in the United States. Highlights of the museum include a early ford vehicles from 1906 and 1916, a 1921 LaFrance fire truck, and a variety of early motorized buggies, There is a also a school bus that dates back to the 1920s and a huge collection of photos, license plates, and memorabilia.

The museum serves under the Chester County Historical Society and Museums and is a Chester County Tourism Information Center. The museum’s gift shop is housed in the depot’s original freight office and features maps of early railroad systems and books on Chester County railroad history.
