Mill Creek Falls
Introduction
Text-to-speech Audio
Best reached by a shady, tree covered, downhill mile hike, Mill Creek Falls is a beautiful twenty foot drop on Mill Creek. On their descent, hikers on Mill Creek Rail Trail will encounter a trestle overseeing smaller falls, gorgeous moss covered cliffs, and a variety of small forest creatures. Mill Creek itself is easily accessible and shallow enough to wade or fish in with the roar of the falls gushing behind you. Massive boulders above the falls offer a place to rest or picnic in the sun with the falls' mist cooling you. After enjoying Mill Creek, hikers can choose to continue downward toward the Hawk's Nest Marina or to hike uphill toward the trail head and the town of Ansted.
