Cookeville History Museum

The Cookeville History Museum is dedicated to preserving and educating the public about the town's history. It offers a permanent exhibit, which explores the area's history from the early inhabitants to today, as well as traveling exhibits. The museum also offers various programs and activities, such as History Hikes, which takes visitors on a walk between the museum and the Cookeville Depot and during which they have to answer trivia questions. An organization called the Friends of the Museum assists the staff in various capacities including financially.
