Located in Lakes Park Fort Myers, the Railroad Museum of South Florida preserves the history of railroading in the state. The 3,200 square foot museum features live steam locomotives, various rolling stock, and railroad tracks. There is also 1/8 model train that takes visitors on a 15 minute, 1.4 mile ride. The museum features numerous railroad related artifacts on display including lanterns, ticket punches, and baggage.
