The Collier County Museum is a natural and cultural history museum located in the County government center in Naples, Florida. It sits on a five acre site and features several outdoor exhibits such as a cottage built 1926, where visitors can see what family life was like during the 1920s; a Seminole village that has an open-sided, cypress pole hut; a Sherman tank that probably saw action in late 1944 during WWII; a Baldwin locomotive that carried lumberjacks into old cypress tree forests; and a replica Seminole War fort, from which patrols were sent to search for Seminole strongholds. The main museum building is the exhibition hall which features numerous exhibits on the history of Florida.
