The Marengo County History and Archives Museum preserves local history through exhibits and other events. Development is underway to build a new museum that will feature exhibits on the Native American, Jewish, African-American and European history in the county. The current museum is open on Tuesday, Wednesday (by appointment), Thursday, and Saturday.
