Located in the Yakima Airport, the McAllister Museum of Aviation provides an overview of aviation history. Its exhibits describe the stories of brothers Charlie and Alister McAllister both of whom were avid airplane enthusiasts. They have notable connections to aviation pioneers including Orville Wright and astronaut Bonnie Dunbar. Other interesting stories explore Yakima's aviation history, including the first woman to do a demonstration flight in a Curtis Pusher in 1913.
