East Benton County Historical Society & Museum
Introduction
Text-to-speech Audio
The East Benton County Historical Society & Museum was founded in 1982 and is considered "the best small museum building in" Washington. It features exhibits that explore the area's Native American history, pioneer life and agriculture, and the various forms of transportation—on railroads, water, and cars—that played an essential role in the county's economic development. On the museum grounds are ancient petroglyphs found in the Columbia River and an old school bell.
