Originally founded as the Adams East Museum in 1958, the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center has a dual purpose of promoting and exhibiting fine art and preserving local history. As such it contains Native American artifacts, displays on local history, and a large Columbian mammoth metal sculpture. It is also accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The museum offers various educational programs, such as lectures, throughout the year.
