Introduction
Text-to-speech Audio
The Appelo Archives Center was founded in 2005 and its aim is to preserve local history with an emphasis on Scandinavian culture, particularly Finnish culture. To this end, the center features a research center and museum. It holds 400 books and contains many genealogical records. There is also a Finnish library that has 600 books, both in English and Finnish. Visitors will see a display case containing Finish costumes. The center is on the second floor of a building; the first floor is the Archives Cafe and visitors simply walk to the stairs to reach the center.
