The Historic Court House Museum opened in 1970 and is operated by the Columbia County Museum association, which itself was founded in 2007. The museum features exhibits about local history, including topics such as the ship building, railroading and logging industries. The association also maintains a research library that holds books, journals, maps, genealogy records, photographs and government records.
