Visitors to the Tarkil Branch Farm's Homestead Museum will learn a lot about what life was like to live and work on a farm 19th and 20th centuries. The museum was opened by the farm's current owners Benny and Annette Fountain. There are numerous vintage buildings including a restored 1830s dogtrot farmhouse. Around 850 farming implements and other artifacts and displayed in these buildings, which include a smokehouse (where visitors can learn how meat was processed back in the 1800s), and a country store. There are also demonstrations of 19th century wine making and cooking.
