Text-to-speech Audio
Located next to the Myrtle Beach Speedway, the Wheels of Yesteryear museum is one of the southeast's most impressive car museums. It is owned by Paul Cummings and his wife who opened it in 2009. The collection is comprised of 100 vintage and restored muscle cars and other automobiles; each year January they rotate the 50 cars on display to give visitors a broad view of the collection. Some of the cars they have are: a 1971 Plymouth "Hemi" 'Cuda convertible, a 1949 Dodge truck, and a 1965 Pontiac GTO. As many tourists vacation in Myrtle Beach, the museum has received visitors from each of the 50 states as well as over a dozen countries.
