Calvin Hoss Manor House is located at 4743 Greenwood Drive, Jonesborough. Calvin Hoss (1812-1870) built this home between 1850 and 1865. Family tradition states that Calvin Hoss placed a jug of whiskey in the walls of this house. To right of this home was an attached log kitchen that held the community’s largest fireplace. This kitchen has since been torn down. This home was given to Calvin’s daughter, Fannie Cox, who lived in the home until her death.

Recently, the home was sold and has been renovated including an addition on the right side of the home.
