The Michigan Iron Industry Museum explores the state's 125 years of mining history. Numerous artifacts are on display that represent mining work and the lives of the miners and their families. These include tools that miners used and two vintage Ford cars, built in 1928 and 1941, respectively. The museum is also connected to the iron ore heritage trail.
