The Islamic Center of Tucson is a prayer space and a community center that dates back to the efforts of University of Arizona students to create a place for study and fellowship in the 1960s. The center serves hundreds of students and community members and welcomes anyone who desires to learn more about the Muslim religion. The organization has operated Al-Huda Islamic School, a private K-6 school, at the center since 1992.
