The Hart County Historical Museum, located in the Chapline Building, is located just off the square in Downtown Munfordville, Kentucky. The museum has an extensive collection of historic objects, images, books, maps and papers relating to the history of Hart County. The museum is here to preserve our history and artifacts and to educate the public about our past.
At the museum, one may also research his Hart county ancestors and Civil War activity. The Munfordville Walking Tour includes ten historic buildings, many of which have Civil War histories.
The museum is open Monday through Friday, from 9 to 4 and Saturday from 8 to 4.
