Founded in 1989 by W.A. "Bill" Taylor Jr., the American Heritage Fire Museum features numerous fire fighting equipment and apparatus on display in a large warehouse. These include 20th century fire trucks, late 1700s hand pumpers, hose reels, horse drawn ladder trucks and wagons, steam pumpers, and over 100 fire antiques. There is also a 1930 Ford chief's pickup truck and a 1930 Ford sedan car. The museum is free of charge but requires an appointment.
