Resource No. 25, a fine example of Carpenter Gothic Revival style built between 1904 and 1906, reflective of tendency for architectural styles to reach S.L.O. decades after peaking in larger metropolitan areas of the U.S. The home was likely built for Kathleen and Thomas Hourihan, ranchers from Arroyo Grande, who perhaps followed a trend wherein ranchers had a townhouse in the city.
