Since 1967, the former Clay City National Bank building has housed the Red River Museum. This unique collection of memorabilia, antiques, Indian artifacts, and old soda bottles — including the locally bottled Ale8 — has entertained curiosity seekers for generations. Outside you will find three other buildings — a small railroad museum, an old school house, and a work shed.

The Red River Museum hosts special events throughout the year, including the spring Grist Mill and Old Engine Weekend, featuring a civil war encampment and a live cannon demonstration, and an arts & crafts festival in the fall.
